...and not even going into how collabs and active promotion have always been more effective in lifting others up than raiding/hosting

Lots of reasons why you wouldn't raid regularly. From the top of my head:
- being mentally/socially drained (hi, that's me)
- friends not streaming
- being unformfortable with raiding streamers you don't know
