Final Fantasy X is a very different game with a different music genre, different plot... and it's also one of the most if not the most popular Final Fantasy out there. X-2 on the other hand... everyone wants to forget it even happened. Though I am not fit to tell you which one to play first

Well, if you really want to go that route remember that you have the project feature! If your model is close to the one you are projecting from, it's going to match it pretty nicely. Remember to subdivide when projecting

Well of course it's Final Fantasy X-2!
It was considered too girly at the time, it went from the power male fantasy of FFX to a trio of girly girls, also the plot and pacing changed drastically, many hated it.
I beg you to listen to the music, it's so fricking GOOD. This is my favourite game ❤️

I guess you found a workaround at this point but for the sake of knowledge you have two ways of fixing this. If you are still in the sculpting phase press X to activate symmetry and then use Zremesher.
If the model is already done with Uv and all, it's a little longer to explain
