Strongly disagree on the Swalwell answer. His focus was on law and order instead of changing the culture. I Honestly, it gave me the ick factor.

100 agree, I took issue with his non-answer on EVtax and law & order emphasis on the Swalwell question.

I can’t believe I am the only one who seems bothered by Becerra’s answer on swalwell. He seemed more concerned about people being prosecuted for rumors versus the need to change the culture. It felt too law and order and thanking victims seemed like an afterthought.

Yet, people really piled on. I admit I was leaning #Swalwell but then bang, huge disappointment. #Becceria’s answer on the rumors gave me an ick factor. “Women yelling” is feeling more like gender coded.

Yep, was unimpressed with Becerra.

I disagree. He flubbed the EVC tax and his Swalwell answer raised some flags with me. Perfect time to talk about victims/changing the culture instead called doubled down on rumors and law/order. I really, really wanted him to shine.
Overall too few questions to change minds.

I’m sad to say no one is getting my enthusiastic vote right now. I think #porter will be the one most helped by the tonight. I really, really wanted someone to breakout.

I have a similar reaction. I really thought this was Becerra’s moment to seize it and he didn’t. The Swalwell answer is really bothering me. If he had said ty to the victims first but he started out saying can’t do anything on “rumors” and doubled down on it b4 pivoting.

I agree, this is an unfair representation of what he said. Him paying more taxes can’t save the company.

Watching #CA #GOV debate. I’m more uncertain as ever. The Republicans are as awful as expected. None of the 4 are breaking out. I wanted to love #Bacceria but he was too wishy/washy on EVC tax and I did not like his stance on #Swalwell. #porter is doing well, but I have concerns on #steyer & #mahon

Sorry, I’m not impressed. I wish he was stronger. Did not like answer on Swalwell and evc tax.

1000’s of people pushed to their limits physically, working/living in close proximity. This will certainly end well…

Almost everything we argue about is a substitute for the thing we should be arguing about: the immense wealth & power of an oligarchic class, which captures governments, ruins lives and wrecks the living planet.
This class redirects our rage at scapegoats. To resist its lies is to resist its power.

Throwing in the word laudatory doesn’t take away the negative/belittling word choice of “influencers” “tabloid journalists”. You can watch many videos of @mrs-frazzled.bsky.social explaining what happened. Commenting is not necessary, especially on a story that you have minimal understanding on 2/2

I’m sorry but your comment is insensitive. This is not gossip/rumors but real women who could only talk about their trauma in tight circles, if at all. They used their platform to build a survivor safe space bc these women believed they were the only ones. 1/2

I switch to reading the highest demand one knowing i can renew the other ones easier. You can also manage your hold to come later without losing your place in line. PS this happens to me all the time, feast or famine.

He ran for president and it didn’t come out…. They really think they are superhuman. I think this is why Trump went after him so hard. He saw himself in Swalwell and knew rules didn’t apply either him too. TY survivors and supporters for stopping him now.

Have you looked outside? Or talked with them? They have little basis to work or live cooperatively. Positive role models are few and far between. So many of their parents navigated the pandemic doing “what’s best for their family” without regards to the greater community.

Or maybe they are living in a dying empire/environment with a mad king at the helm….

The country will vote for this gay man. Similar to Obama, he presents as one of us, a “safe other”. This is said with no disrespect to either man but a reflection of our deep stereotypes. It is why i think the first woman president will be a republican/conservative woman.

Kimberly Clarke warehouse fire around 2am. Not what you want to see on your way to work at the #ontario airport #ont in this political climate. Terrible air quality. Thankfully no injuries or spread beyond the warehouse.

If I have to explain one more time that Allah is God in Arabic…. Too many people like to say “they” pray to a different God. Ignorance is convenient.

Lots of great ideas, I’ll add badminton and second volleyball. My non-sports girls asked to see those sports as they are fun to see.

And what has been done about all the law breaking that the admin is currently partaking in? Read the room, the law means nothing to them.
