Seriously, nothing takes up less space in your luggage than underwear.
A nearly empty tub of sour cream fell out of the fridge while I was doing something else. When I went to pick it up, it was gone. But I knew where to look. Sure enough, the chihuahua had snatched it and taken it to her crate for further investigation.
I have just heard that
It's National Haiku Day
Well, what do you know
Yesterday was my first yoga class in a while. Today I’m being reintroduced to a bunch of muscles I’d forgotten about.
Package left next to a doormat that says, “Ask not for whom the dog barks. It barks for thee.” And behind the glass of the storm door, a brown and tan chihuahua barks ferociously.
I bought this doormat specifically for delivery confirmation photos like this.
@pantalonesfuego.bsky.social I’m always thinking of you when I post flower pics. 💐
A patch of pale purple iris blossoming.
A lovely coral single peony with gold inside on a vivid green background of its leaves along with grass and clover.
Please enjoy these flowers currently blooming in my yard.
A brown and tan chihuahua who knows what many English words mean, taught herself to walk into her harness in pitch darkness, and can be counted on to police cat fights. Verdict: Not dumb.
Nuh uh. Bombastic side-eye.
We had the nice kind when I was growing up, but now I’m constantly fighting the invasive kind.
I think it took me three tries, so I get it.
@realfollowers.bsky.social I’m curious about my number.
Heard a radio commercial about tax prep that mentioned a “simple 1040” but it sounded like there was a new form called the “simpleton 40.”
I just ordered some phlox for some spots around my yard.
My bedroom window is open, so I am very aware that the raccoons in the woods have THINGS TO SAY.
I have a lot of plug-in outdoor tools (snowblower, leaf blower, sawzall, hedge trimmer) and a long extension cord. I’ve had bad luck with battery failure on most stuff other than my lawnmower.
Cobalt. The battery is 80% of the cost of the lawnmower, which I why I don’t have an extra.
I haven't done my back yard yet because there are a lot of leaves and sticks that need to be picked up first. Probably walnuts, too. Ugh.
It's push because I'm cheap. But it's super lightweight, so it doesn't tax you the way a gas-powered one would.
Also, I’m jealous that this is your first mow of the year. I’ve already done my front and side yards twice and they need it again after all the rain.
I love my battery-powered mower, despite its limitation of not being able to handle my whole yard on one charge.
a large collection of extremely 1970s mugs primarily in that terrible orangey-brown color with a ton of flower designs

I just recently got back into my Flickr account years after letting my Yahoo account go. I have all my photos there Creative Commons licensed and I constantly get Google Alerts that they’ve been used all over the place. Considering reupping the paid account.
I use my smallest scoop to make cookies. I generally freeze most of the dough so I can bake a few at a time as I want them.
Hawk perched on a deck railing looking for snacks.
This fellow was overlooking my feeder last summer and caused me to take it down until the coast was clear. #RaptorsAtFeeders
Made the mistake of looking at Nextdoor and I've learned that some people are super upset about giant skeletons in other people's yards, especially when they stay up all year long. Imagine that being a thing you care about enough to say something when [waves arms] all this is going on.
