Doodle No. 86
Today's doodle was supplanted by a D&D dungeon idea. I have a special fondness for skeletons, so it's always fun to design a place, long-since abandoned, ripe for necromancers and other squatters to move in and tank the property values.
Doodle No. 85
Bunnies.

Doodle No. 83 #Myst #Riven #LeagueofLegends #LoL
I don't know much about League of Legends or this white-haired anime lady, but I dislike how much she interferes with looking up art of my second favorite point-and-click adventure game Riven, so here's a picture of Gehn glaring at her.
Doodle No. 82 #TheAmazingDigitalCircus #TADC
"Do you know the Amazing Digital Circus?"
Yes.
"Can you draw Gangle and Zooble? Any scene is fine!"
Of course.
Doodle No. 81 #OnePiece
"Please draw the Straw Hat crew."
This one took a while.
I decided not to tag the previous two posts since I'm not really into basketball or the Simpsons, and probably wouldn't draw them of my own accord. I am familiar with One Piece, however, so: here we are. Do enjoy.
Doodle No. 80
"Draw Bart Simpson!"
Doodle No. 79
Some kids saw me drawing in my notebook and asked if I was an artist. I said yes, and showed them some of my (age-appropriate) sketches. They then proceeded to make requests.
"Can you draw LeBron James...no, Charles Barkley! No, wait...David Robinson!"
I can certainly try.
The new Opus Magnum DLC is very fun.
As a special behind-the-scenes bonus, here's the rough mock-up I threw together one morning when the idea first came to me.
An adaptation of "Fire Coming Out of the Monkey's Head," from Gorillaz's second album Demon Days. #Gorillaz
"And then came a sound, distant first, that grew into castrophany
So immense that it could be heard far away in space."
"There were no screams.
There was no time.
The mountain called Monkey had spoken.
There was only fire, and then..."
"Nothing."
Doodle No. 78 #Gorillaz
Part 4 of 4.
"For the first time, the Happyfolk felt fearful
For they knew that soon the Monkey would stir from its deep sleep."
"Every day, people would wake and stare at the mountain.
Why was it bringing darkness into their lives?
And as the Strangefolk mined deeper and deeper into the mountain, holes began to appear
Bringing with them a cold and bitter wind that chilled the very soul of the Monkey."
"The Strangefolk, they coveted the jewels in these caves above all things,
And soon they began to mine the mountain,
Its rich seam, fueling the chaos of their own world.
Meanwhile, down in the town, the Happyfolk slept restlessly,
Their dreams invaded by shadowy figures digging away at their souls."
Doodle No. 77 #Gorillaz
Part 3 of 4.
"In time, Strangefolk found their way
Into the higher reaches of the mountain,
And it was there that they found the caves
Of unimaginable sincerity and beauty."
"By chance, they stumbled upon the place where all good souls come to rest."
"Then one day, Strangefolk arrived in the town.
They came in camouflaged, hidden behind dark glasses,
But no one noticed them; they only saw shadows.
You see, without the truth of the eyes, the Happyfolk were blind."
Doodle No. 76 #Gorillaz
Part 2 of 4.
"Here they played out their peaceful lives,
Innocent of the litany of excess and violence that was growing in the world below.
To live in harmony with the spirit of the mountain, called Monkey, was enough!"
"Once upon a time, at the foot of a great mountain,
There was a town where the people known as Happyfolk lived,
Their very existence a mystery to the rest of the world,
Obscured as it was by great clouds."
Doodle No. 75 #Gorillaz

Doodle No. 74
Hair in motion is difficult to draw.
Doodle No. 73
Not particularly happy with the chair, but relatively pleased with the posture and proportions.
Doodle No. 72 #Dune #Tremors
A second Friday the 13th merits a second creature feature, so here's two for the price of one.
Doodle No. 71 #SlayTheSpire
Love this pompous prick.
Doodle No. 70
I typically prefer drawing nudes on the weekend, but since I drew one yesterday (on the left page), I decided to draw another one (on the right page) to complement it and complete the spread.
I think she reads a little longer than I would have liked, but these things are a process.
Doodle No. 69
Always important to make an informed decision.
