While my Monster parked for servicing, I test drove the 2023 SV650. It's a completely different bike. It's too soft and obedient.
Now I know what I want for my next bike: A more hardcore, carbureted 900cc Ducati from the '90s.

I thought this is a kids bike seat mounted backwards on the handlebar...

It's just a matter of preference. It can be useful if you fill the additional 1-2 liters under the cup and then must keep bike upright so the fuel doesn't leak out.
But i don't use in-app payments, which have become popular lately. So, I'll get off the bike for payment anyway 😁

These are knee protectors with sliders from AliExpress. Pros: They work well for amateur riding on slow tracks and are a great solution if you go on track days occasionally and don't need to buy leather pants.
