it's the most important election of our lifetimes because at last we can, we must, vote squarely for what we passionately oppose. it's both an apotheosis and a reductio of the ingenious american system of government, the wisdom of the founders, the politics of obama and spanberger, etc.
I've been getting texts that say "today is the most important election of our lifetimes." this pertains to the virginia 'yay gerrymandering" vote today, believe it or not.
I live in VA. No I am not voting in favor of ever-heavier gerrymandering. But to you who are, I point out that you are really opponents of the democracy you profess to endorse. I'd suggest voting "Nes" or "Yo," or, you know, just staying home.
