Really great article. Reading through it, made me think about all the various milestones that I thought would never come, and how long ago they now seem.

The leftists I see irl ARE doing something radical; they are creating and strengthening networks of support outside current structures of power.
It doesn't get much attention because it's not violent or flashy, it doesn't get clicks. It's not throwing Molotovs, but it's radical as fuck.
Thanks for doing what you can. Is it too much to ask for to just have a president who thinks the world works by 1980s action movie rules. Trump is a narcissist with dementia, and Vance won't do anything until January 2027.
Congress needs to do something about this.
I hope @padilla.senate.gov and @schiff.senate.gov are doing the same. Trump is insane and destroying not just our country but the rules based international order we have enjoyed for over 70 years. This shit needs to stop. Get your asses to DC.
Thank you, @kim.senate.gov .
All of Us Should Be Able To Agree With This…..
Me holding a protest sign that reads “No Wars. No Camps. No Kings!”
Me holding a sign that says “It’s The People’s house” over a drawing of the White House, then under it says “ Not One Man’s Castle. No Kings!”
My wife and I went to #NoKingsSantaCruz today and it was a huge turnout don’t know the numbers, but we marched and had our signs. Lots of people liked mine. Front and back shown.
Mr. T's cartoon show alone makes the man a national treasure. You add in his appearances in The Terrible Thunder Lizards, and he damn near qualifies for sainthood.
Chuck Norris? Bah!
No comparison in our household.
I think he's making a really dangerous situation much worse.
If he keeps telling the world that our military won't follow the rules of engagement, he is inviting others to treat our troops with the same mercilessness.
Dang this one hit me hard.
Thank you.
Being kind to myself is the most difficult thing I’ve ever tried to do, with occasional success.
But the successes come more frequently the more work I put in.
When I was in my 20s, no one thought about what I had in my pants.
Then my egg cracked.
Now for some people, what's in my pants is of the gravest concern to our nation.
My home page isn't working but I can go to individual channels, and they're running fine.
There seems to be a lot of discussion about Gavin Newsom today.
I wanted to re-share this piece that I wrote, because I have a lot of center-to-left Dems that follow me that want to understand.
There are very good reasons transgender people do not like Gavin Newsom.
I just realized that I am our new cat's spare human.
I don't get it.
My wife is the one who gets him in the car to go to the vet, and gives him his pills and claw trimmings, all things he hates, yet she is still human number one.
I just give him food and pets and snuggles.
Alas, the spare I am.

Wait. There are people in the world that need to be fooled into learning about dinosaur taxonomy?
Let's gooooo!
Whatever is in the Epstein Files is so explosive that the leaders of the Department of Justice are openly breaking the law every day to keep us from seeing it. (Just a reminder amongst all the other stuff flying around.)
Minimum wage job: 12 hours of delicate, finicky, painful hard work
Medium wage job: 8 hours a day of delicate, annoying hard work. With emails
CEO of company: 4 hours of gooning to his AI secretary with a suspiciously childlike face, with word salad about quantum physics and how smart he is
I bet the vast majority of ICE agents know exactly what the age of consent is in whatever state they are deployed.
And no matter what that age is, they think it's way too high.
Black and white photo. High contrast. Image is from the interior of the Monterey Bay Aquarium looking out through a window out towards the ocean. There is a staircase to the left side of the frame, and a guardrail toward the bottom. All this interior is dark, with some light defining the shapes of the objects. Outside is much brighter, the ocean stretches out to the horizon in the lower third of the frame, above, the sky streches to the top, where some pipes start to obscure it.
Black and white photo. High contrast. From the interior of the Monterey Bay Aquarium, looking out at the ocean through a huge window wall. The ceiling is also made of huge panels of glass. The windows form a grid of dark lines. Outside id brighter, looking out across outdoor tanks and walkways. much of the Bay can be seen at the horizon in the distance.
Black and white photo. High contrast. Taken from the interior of the Monterey Bay Aquarium. This shot is from the top of a starcase looking out through a multi-paneled windowed corner. Tile floors and handrails in the interior surround a bright patch of sunlight on a section of floor. The top two thirds of the image are generally bright, both interior and exterior. The outside is lined with the window panes, the interior by those panes' shadows.
Back and white photo. Interior of Monterey Bay Aquarium. This looks through a section of the building's internal structure, with the mast of a small boat being displayed from the ceiling. This shot is from the upper walkway in the main lobby (I think). The shot looks down a series of squres made of the building's steel. All the lines are slightly off.
I went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium recently, and saw a bunch of awesome sea life. It was really nice to relax with fish and otters.
I also paid attention to the building for the first time. It's a truly lovely place. Thank you for such a lovely day, @mbarinews.bsky.social!
Please someone take him away.
And Vance. And Vought. And Stephen Miller...
Especially Stephen Miller.
Sometimes I can't help but think they actually want to put people's lives in danger. A lot of billionaires like to talk about over population of the Earth.
Wouldn't put it past them to intentionally endanger the lives of the generally poor people who will suffer most from a changing climate.
Hey folks, don't know if you can help out, but the folks over at Belle of the Ranch do a fundraiser to get gifts for older kids that end up at DV shelters. This video will explain it all.

Never heard the phrase before, but I concur with this.
Eat my shit and hair too, AI grifters.

U.S. Southern Command @Southcom X.com On Dec. 4, at the direction of @SecWar Pete Hegseth, Joint Task Force Southern Spear conducted a lethal kinetic strike on a vessel in international waters operated by a Designated Terrorist Organization. Intelligence confirmed that the vessel was carrying illicit narcotics and transiting along a known narco-trafficking route in the Eastern Pacific. Four male narco-terrorists aboard the vessel were killed. #OpSouthernSpear
SOUTHCOM announces another boat strike.
Notable that the Pentagon carried out this strike on the same day that Adm. Bradley appeared before members of Congress to defend the Sep. 2 strike.
