Today I took my phone in for repairs because it keeps spontaneously shutting itself down, and the tech told me it was because my "logic board is panicking."

Never have I related to my phone so much.

Oh and I haven't seen one cent of royalties for it! Wheeeee

(To be fair, I don't think my IP book is actively terrible. But it's my worst published work for sure.)

One of the reasons I quit writing was that a dinky little IP project I dashed off in six weeks was SO much more successful than any of the books I poured my heart into. It has sold 47,000 copies. That's more than all my YA books put together. And THAT'S what it took??
