Strictly speaking, he found that people who lost their ability to emote did not lose their ability to reason-they could reason perfectly well-but lost their ability to make decisions because they couldn’t weigh outcomes (w/o emotions didn’t care)

@timmiller.bsky.social when you have an injury to one leg, it can throw off your gait and affect the other leg.

Similarly, I recently had my knee replaced, and my improved gait puts stress on the opposite hip. It’s killing me!
