So, things have been so ridiculous over the last few weeks that I didn't even get around to posting our #GlastonburyFestival stall on here.

1/2 Our son was around a year old and we were in a hotel away on business.
We were seated for breakfast when the man on the next table announced loudly that he'd like to move as his wife won't want to be seated next to a screaming baby.....
Spend every Sunday jamming a chorizo sausage into a Yorkshire putting and call it integration....
We've got a sign on our office wall that says "I'm sorry for all the things I said when we were putting up the tent".
The other is a sign asking "have you spoken to Jesus about your van hire requirements?"....but that's a different story for another time.
Dementia is shitty. You lose the person you once knew so much sooner than when you physically lose them.
Don't worry. Our local squirrels prefer either blanched Californian whole almonds or whole walnuts. I have to pop in to Grape Tree weekly.
My husband is used to it now!

This hit home. Similar situation with my Dad because it's what my school report said. I was lazy. Unorganised. Didn't apply myself. I was a daydreamer.
In the end, it became hard to fit into his box that I broke free. I became the "tie dye sheep" of the family with my own hippy business for 17yrs!
I cannot get enough of this little ginger boy in our hotel courtyard.
He loves sitting on motorbikes!

I saw this online during lockdown and thought it spoke volumes about loneliness and the effect the birds had on our family although, I think the actual meaning of this sculpture is different to my personal interpretation.
Birds gave us so much without knowing as does art.
Flew over the beautiful Caucuses Mountains yesterday. Then down over Turkmenistan and Afghanistan on our way to India.
One day, we're hoping things will change enough that we can visit all the places the newspapers tell you are too dangerous to go to.

This was the year we finally got to see Toumani Diabaté play, and on the Pyramid Stage!
We'd seen him about 20 years before on Sahara with Michael Palin and knew one day, I'd see him play. Just didn't expect it to be in a field in Somerset.
It was everything I hoped it would be.
Sorry for your loss. We don't know each other, it's just very sad. I lost my mum to cancer 15 years ago. The time passes so quickly, as does the anger towards this disease ... but the sadness is always there 🕯️
We trade at Womad, they've been saying the same. Many bands have been unable to come. It's not just the visas, it's the carnets for all their gear. It's just not feasible to come here and perform.
It's the same going the other way making it impossible for up and coming bands to promote themselves.
