#FM24 Thiago Motta - The Value of The Ball

Another old but gold will be published over on my substack account later today or tomorrow.

Lovely recreation with plenty of visual aids to help cement some of the in game decisions. Thoroughly enjoyed reading this morning with my ☕

I've tried my hand at a tactical recreation in #FM24 of Arne Slot's tactic against Spurs for the 3-6 victory.
I write in-depth as to how I've come up with the tactic, and provided a download link.

It really is a great tactic which I found to be extremely efficient. Of course as with any recreation, the effectiveness is impacted with personnel. However, trust the process and benefit from the return on investment.

Such a great save early on in the cycle with AFC Ajax, dropping the DNA model which aided squad role/playing time.

Locatelli and Thuram are another fine example of a double pivot which offers a well balanced profile.

Thuram has a great physical profile, whilst Locatelli operates as the metronome, keeping Juventus ticking over.

So glad to see Manuel returning to the form which earned him his move to Turin.

Thinking of including any articles of interest in the fortnightly mailshot, along with players of interest (linked to IRL performance), should be something a bit different.

Thinking of setting up a substack for FM25 and beyond, to showcase tactical recreations, along with providing a fortnightly memo. All free of charge of course, would this be something of interest?

Going to start conducting a bit of analysis into VfB Stuttgart over the next few months, with the view to getting out of the blocks for #FM25
