the ravynOS loading screen running in VMware for arm64
Pretty big milestone from @ravynsoft.bsky.social ravynOS; I just tried the latest code since @mszoek.bsky.social figured out some arm64 assembly bugs, and… I have graphics! The desktop isn’t coming up properly but DAMN it’s close.
Next stop… trying on bare metal instead of VMware. 😎
The whole build is now working again, and I have a new ISO nearly ready! The install script works again, pkg problems have been fixed, bundles improved, everything updated to the latest upstream, lots more. Get ready for 0.5.0!
The base build is now completing on my machine again and on CI/CD. Close to having the base distribution building again. The layer on top is called System and that’s progressing well too. We should be back to hacking on features soon!!
