We had a wonderful visit with @servicerotties.bsky.social yesterday. Bernoulli loves Chesnyy and Marla and the two dogs were really excited to see each other.
Kenji was there also.

The unfortunately named “Kilo,” who declines to answer to anything else. His new family has decided that it’s short for “kilowatt” due to his smile - which I am annoyed at my failure to capture in photo form. He’s such a lug-headed sweetie! And his new family just adores him; we hear them all talking to him in the backyard all the time 💕

Bonus: For the first few years of his life, he had a loving person who treated him kindly and trained him well, but then his person died suddenly…and he wound up in a shelter. A good reminder to make arrangements for your pets ahead of time.

It rained overnight here in SoCal, so Eddie the tortoise was out drinking from puddles this morning. Desert tortoises mostly get their water from their food, but do take advantage of rainfall. (He won’t drink from a dish.) Wild tortoises are even known to scrape out depressions to collect rain. 🐢

No one has the brains needed to do the jobs they’ve been hired to do. He did this knowingly. He is the ultimate traitor.
