What a US destroyer shooting a cargo ship's engine out reveals about how the Navy is handling Iran blockade runners USS Spruance ran through procedure with the Iranian-flagged vessel before finally opening fire with its deck gun when the boat didn't comply.

"Disabling the engines also has the effect of denying the crew the possibility of getting away, and it reduces their likelihood of resisting the boarding."

Bombings set back Iran's nuclear program, but likely didn't kill it President Trump said the attacks "completely obliterated" Iran's key nuclear facilities. Experts aren't so sure the program is destroyed.

The challenges to destroy Iran's nuclear program look similiar to those in June:
-Missing stockpiles of HE uranium
-fortified underground sites & possibility of covert sites
-Iran's technical expertise

@chrispanella.bsky.social examined these issues then: www.businessinsider.com/bombings-set...

I have no thoughts about Deadpool other than they need to have an option where only the person playing him hears his voice lines. Lots of audio clutter in game where hearing certain voice lines is key. I still maintain my position that having him in all three roles was a mistake

Playing tank feels the best it’s been since release. Playing support feels the wonkiest it’s been since release. Moon Knight needs a nerf. They don’t nerf Bucky because he’s the main counter to a ton of comps. Dive is still fine IMO. Plenty of ppl make it work

Random Marvel Rivals season 6 thoughts:
Gambit nerfs are fine. Invis nerfs are overtuned. Poke and hitscan being the meta is good, rewards good aim and skill. Triple support is still meta because only a handful of supports can keep up with the high healing needed in this game.

Emma: fundamentally changed the game in so many ways
Ultron: helped mix up the 2-2-2 comp
Phoenix: crazy damage potential
Blade: fun, varied kit
Angela: niche kit for a tank
Daredevil: broken good
Gambit: high skill ceiling
And now Rogue looks like she’ll be an absolute lobby admin

Since Marvel Rivals introduced Emma Frost, we’ve had a string of characters with complex kits and potential for high skill plays. Feels like with every new character, the community says, “this is the coolest/hardest/most interesting character in the game.” It’s awesome and keeps the game fresh
