The first design I ever did was ANSI art for BBSs. If you don't have to look either of those up you're officially old.

I love this art so much, but in terms of decks it could go into it's a complete mess. No theme from a Magic point of view.

While not a land and therefore a greater challenge for me, it was a really fun process!
Started sketching in heavypaint on ipad, then switched to oils on wood! 🎨 🖌️

The tool is something like these?

Not that I’m aware of, I learned how to do it at shoebox. I took a small embossing stylus and outline what figures I want to remain unaltered. The textured background is just small squiggly circles. I used a ruler for straight lines around the borders

These are incredibly cool. I want to give this a try. Is there a tutorial somewhere?
