I agree that all of the trump regime is completely untethered from reality. The only thing I disagree with is the implication, through 'increasingly untethered', that the trump regime was *ever* actually tethered to reality.

maybe kids shouldn’t be gambling

maybe politics shouldn’t be gambling
maybe everything shouldn’t be gambling
Even toddler with a gun is generous.
A tweet by Joe Walsh criticizing the role of the Attorney General, arguing the AG should serve the American people, not the president. It includes a quoted clip of Acting AG Todd Blanche speaking at a Justice Department podium about executing the president’s agenda.
He said the quiet part out loud. You work for us, not him, Blanche.
Ex Deputy National Security Advisor for Strategic Communications and Speechwriting under Obama👇🏽
I know he was a drunk, but was hegseth ever even passable as a news anchor? He's certainly showing how completely inept he is as secretary of defense...
Screenshot of a news headline that says: 'White House Seeks $1.5 Trillion for Defense in New Budget Request The huge proposed increase would be partly offset by steep cuts to domestic programs, some of which the Trump administration describes as wasteful.'
Taking money from Americans’ housing, education, and climate programs to bankroll another war is exactly the wrong choice.
Screenshot of a tweet by Home of the Brave contrasting Trump’s past statement about protecting Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid with a more recent comment suggesting cuts. The image shows a side-by-side comparison of Trump speaking, labeled “March 2025” and “Today.”
He really said it. He really said we can't do these things for our people because we have expensive wars to fight.
This "thing", and everyone surrounding him are so completely divorced from reality that they make Adolf look well grounded....
I readily see 80kW+ on my Niro EV, but that's still very low these days. Overall quite happy with my 2.5 years with my Niro, but did have to turn off the lane departure feature as it kept trying to swerve me into oncoming traffic in a few spots around my area.
I just learned about Ionna from your last vid - Looking forward to trying them out on my next trip. Those chargers look fantastic!
I'd argue that Tesla has completely squandered the tech lead they built up early. At best they have a minor advantage on a couple features and are behind on the rest
"I'm the president of peace! America First!"
"We're cutting domestic programs and increasing defense spending, cuz we're starting wars."
Can I get a different timeline please?
I wonder how difficult it would be to convince tater tot that the earth is flat. maybe a video from 3 or 4 dems saying how amazing our round earth is...
I did this for close to a year when I first got my Kia Niro EV. I work from home, so having it plugged in for extended periods was not too much of an issue for the most part. It's certainly an option to cover some situations.
10000% second this! I regularly get asked how long my car takes to charge. My answer is generally two parts, depending on the conversation - Roughly 6 hours on my L2 charger, but really less than 30 seconds *total* per cycle to plug it in and unplug it. The rest of that time is irrelevant.
It was revealed last week that Trump got a $10 billion bribe for helping steal TikTok and give it to his right wing billionaire friends under the pretense of national security and it barely enjoyed a two hour news cycle
Tweet by Jamie Bonkiewicz arguing that people who believe Trump can win wars or run the economy ignore his record of avoiding the draft and declaring multiple bankruptcies.
She's right you know.
Reminder - The "AI" companies of today have no actual intelligence, and no cognitive / reasoning abilities. These models do some interesting tricks using a lot of fancy math that can give an illusion of thinking, but there is no actual thought involved. It's LLM, not AI.
o/ @steampowered.com -- it would be helpful to have something on the status bar in the Steam linux client to show that shaders were being compiled in the background. Nothing crazy needed, just something like 'background shaders' on the status bar would quickly explain why steam is using CPU.
Screenshot of an X post by Aaron Rupar quoting Sen. Josh Hawley saying, “What I can say for sure is Donald Trump is not gonna take ‘no’ for an answer.” The embedded image shows Hawley appearing on Fox News across from a host, with the U.S. Capitol visible in the background and a chyron reading, “Soon: Trump’s State of the Union Address.”
What a thing to say about a sexual assaulter and predator.
Screenshot of an X post by Ann Coulter commenting on Trump’s State of the Union address and arguing that the U.S. cannot have a second-, third-, or fourth-generation immigrant as president because “love for our country has to be in your genes.” Below it is a “Readers added context” note stating that President Trump is himself a second-generation immigrant through his Scottish-born mother and a third-generation immigrant through his German-born paternal grandparents.
Community note FTW.
It’s crazy that it’s basically just a combination of the single worst most disastrous parts of every administration in history
The judges in WV have seen enough.
They say that if the ICE continues detaining people in ways they have unanimously deemed illegal they will start issuing civil fines and contempt findings — including against state officials who help them carry it out.

it feels very backwards, but here we are... cheering for the ai company to win....
Screenshot of an X post by Acyn quoting an exchange in which McBride says Tony Gonzales should resign and criticizes Republicans for not holding themselves accountable after years of Trump. The embedded image shows a woman in a green blazer speaking to a reporter in a hallway lined with framed artwork, with a MeidasTouch Network logo visible.
Truer words have rarely been spoken.
Screenshot of an X post by Tom Bonier stating that the “save women’s sports” crowd has been quiet since Trump mocked the U.S. women’s hockey team, suggesting they don’t genuinely care about women’s sports.
It’s never been about protecting women’s sports.
Screenshot of an X post by Aaron Rupar quoting a segment from MS NOW discussing missing 2019 FBI interviews from the Epstein files and referencing a woman identified in a 2025 FBI presentation as having accused Donald Trump of sexual assault when she was between 13 and 15 years old. The embedded image shows two women speaking on a news set with an on-screen banner reading “Breaking News” and “MS NOW.”
There are some fifty critical pages missing. It's a crime to cover up a crime.
