I want to say 89.....I may well be very wrong!
I actually read Silence of the Girls on my daughter's recommendation and am now catching up on the actual books before I head back to Women of Troy. Silence of the Girls was ridiculously powerful
Her Iliad is brilliant and "Poor Fools" has become one of my standard phrases! I think there is something wonderfully fresh and immediate about them. Must admit as a language geek I loved the intro!
Managed to post two days in a row...absolutely not promising a 3rd!

Currently listening to this and it is absolutely phenomonal
I generally don't post much (sorry!) but maybe my Lenten discipline can be to post a bit more....

Properly here for this - Thank you!
"No, I'm not sure men had anything to do with it" everytime someone says "Best laid plans of mice and men"
Knock and Run - A seemingly overly literal Derby
Then we continue to pray

I've just found this feed - amazing! Already rooting for the Puffins!
OK I haven't been posting much (sorry - I will try to do better!) but the chance to share about cricket and supporting Ukraine is just too much to resist
12 years here and although I think I know I never quite have the confidence and bail out with "Easter weekend" of so often
Amazing - it is absolutely on my to do list!
So good to have @bishopnorwich.bsky.social with us at St.Peter's this morning for candlemas, communion and confirmations.
Such a joyous occasion shared with so many of our church community
I am finding, now my eldest is doing her GCSEs, that I may not have remembered them all entirely accurately...
Great to see RIchard Turk licensed this evening - an absolutely packed church service!
Great to have the Dean of Norwich Cathedral (and former Rector of this parish) with us yesterday and to inspire us in our prayer lives.
Now looking forward to next week when we have @bishopnorwich.bsky.social joining us for confirmations and cake!
It was very much worth wrapping up warm this morning for a trip to Hickling Broad. One of Norfolk Wildlife Trust's amazing people showed us how to spot various trails and tracks that animals leave behind.
Off to a wildlife event with the family this morning.....new levels of extreme layering up incoming
That would be great - Thank you!
Oh I had totally forgotten about hastags - thank you!
I'm trying my best! Please do let me know who I've missed and I will update the starter pack. It is so good to see you here
and in the starter pack too!
Right with a mass migration seemingly starting from Twitter to here....this is my attempt at a Diocese of Norwich starter pack...
Let me know those I have invariably missed!

BlueSky is getting busier!
Espescially love seeing @dioceseofnorwich.bsky.social @ianbishop.bsky.social @bishopoflynn.bsky.social & @bishopnorwich.bsky.social make the move over from Twitter.
If you want to know more about what is happening in Norfolk (and Waveney!) give them a follow & say hello!
This from @stephenkb.bsky.social in today's Inside politics is going to haunt/challenge/inspire me for a long time:
"There is a lot of ink spilled about politicians and their principles and I just think, ultimately, your principles are what you do."
I remember Macbeth, Great Expectations, An inspector Calls, Jane Eyre and Of Mice and Men...plus what felt like an awful lot of Chaucer
I don't think I particularly enjoyed any of them at the time but was deeply impacted by the endings of both an Inspector Calls and Of Mice and Men
