An EXTREMELY emotionally taxing day.

Car trouble is so stressful for me. But. I’m so thankful to have a partner who loves me and helps me when I need help.

Current era: Star Wars.

My eras are cyclical, seasonal and predictable. This time last year I had a big phase of being a Star Wars nerd.

So excited that 1) they made a Blu-ray of this (FINALLY) and 2) that @eotter94.bsky.social got this for us.

It really *is* all that. And more. I’m obsessed. And I’m fairly certain I’m having more fun with it than I was in the first days of Animal Crossing back in 2020.

Well. I feel like now I can finally announce:

I’ve been accepted into an Alternative Certification program to become an elementary teacher. I’ll be teaching in the classroom by August.

My life is about to fundamentally change and I’m so excited. 🥹

This is an excellent analogy, because my recollection from grade school is that the pen on the right looks fun and exciting, and then you play with it for a few minutes and realize it's not actually useful for anything and in fact makes some tasks more cumbersome, and never think about it again.
