indeed, digital is very handy and much of the work I do would be a lot more involved without it, but I think a bit part of photography for me originally was the time in the dark room - now most of 'photography' is sitting at a computer - which I could really do without
Over the years I've moved away from photography as a creative practice and found myself returning to physical making in wood, found objects and now textiles. I realise now that photography began to lose its attraction for me when it stopped being a physical practice.
