As someone who oldest sister 23 years older than my youngest sister, and who’s oldest son is 18 years older than my youngest son, feel I am qualified to make this statement.
Children deserve mature parents who are not stressed and have time and the resources to properly care for them.

Recently I’ve been added to some WhatsApp groups, one for primary, one for high school and one for university.
A thing I observed.
Some people get older, while some people grow up.

An mullet an janga swim in de pool,
I have ten acres of mountain side,
An a dainty-foot donkey dat I ride,
Four Gros Michel, an four Lacatan,
Some coconut trees, and some hills of yam,

If all the men in her life a gas her up, then she is probably a nice person.
I prefer to interpret it that way.

Tren de Aragua gang started in Venezuela's prisons and now spreads fear in the US Law enforcement authorities across the U.S. are increasingly focused on a Venezuelan gang behind a spate of violent crimes.

What them say about doing the same thing the same way and expecting different results?

The JCF don’t see value in body worn cameras.
And they don’t really want Jamaica Eye, so I absolutely do not trust their judgement in this matter.

We have no dispute here.
What I want to see more of is how to adress the systemic social issues.

Yup.
Hence JFJ and INDECOM are easy targets. They don’t shoot back.

Which come back now to where we start the conversation.
Was INDECOM really the problem?

You are right. Should have defined that too.

I agree here.
We love quick visible solutions.
Tomorrow will take care of itself.
We will wipe away the termite trail, not caring to find the nest.

Indecom wasn’t making it hard for good cops to do their jobs.

I want to argue that our attitude towards indecom, JFJ, body worn cameras, Jamaica Eye, and red light and speed cameras come from the same place.
As a nation, we do not like anything that can hold us accountable.
We know the solution is not brute force, but it is convenient to pretend.
