Update: I am a full 2 months behind on social media. I have made one manual Archipelago (for Dragonsweeper) and am working on three more.

I am over a month behind on social media and falling more behind every day. I do not plan to make any attempt to reverse this trend.

Panel 1: In december the under 16 ban went into affect Discord mandated age verification. Between Face-scan and providing a photo ID, I thought I was safe with a scan
Panel 2: My account was insta-suspended in under a minute, I am over 30 years old and it identified me as under 13
Panel 3: Discord gave me an ultimatum:
give them a photo of me holding my ID or never use my
account again
Panel 4: I tried arguing I feared for my privacy; they have leaked ID before, I tried arguing I'VE BEEN PAYING THEM FOR 8 YEARS. They didn't listen
Panel 5: I couldn't talk to most of my overseas friends for a month
Panel 6: Looking for advice online: Turns out victims of the UK/AUS ban had it better than the norm; at least a person saw my complaints. Most suspension tickets are auto declined by bots; I cannot envision Discord scaling this for worldwide fairly
Panel 7: I eventually complied, I'm pretty luck;
I could get away with an expired license
Panel 8: Currently discord is being hammered by people cancelling
nitro subscriptions, I'd cancel mine if they hadn't had done it for me already
Panel 9: my advice is this: Ensure Discord isn't your only point of contact with your friends

Re: Paul, I have been doing some reading, and I have realized Christianity is almost entirely a Pauline invention. Paul himself wrote that James (Jesus's brother) and Peter (one of the twelve apostles) did not agree with him and only met him once, maybe twice. Paul never met Jesus in actual life.

It'll make notifications based on your meds schedule, and you can mark off when you've taken them. Options to repeat or snooze notifications. It keeps track of what you've taken when, or skipped, and you can log that in more detail in the app (including non-scheduled doses).

I recently started using this Android application for medication reminders: github.com/Futsch1/medT...

It seems to work well, and I think I'll keep it.

"healing isn't linear" ok but it should be. i should be better every day until i reach 100% and then keep going, becoming unstoppably, supernaturally healthy

benevolentfalcon on tumblr says: "I wouldn't say I'm a lapsed cultist. I still accept the basic worldview--I believe that Cthulhu lies in R'lyeh in a deathlike sleep, I believe his Star-spawn shall one day cleanse the earth and usher in an age of shouting and killing and reveling in joy, yada yada--but I'm not, y'know, religious about it. Cthulhu has lied sleeping for, like, countless aeons, he's probably not waking up in my lifetime. I doubt giving up my Friday nights to chant "Cthulhu fhtagn" with a bunch of naked old guys in a basement is gonna wake him up any faster. I mean, if I ever have kids, I'll probably start going again, but that's more about teaching good morals."

No borders, UBI, education should be free at any age, every office should be union lead or all decisions democratically made by workers, abolish prisons, free housing, healthcare and food.

If we take the "it'll be too hard to tell who you're talking about" argument against they/them personal pronouns to it's logical conclusion, we arrive at "everyone should have their own unique pronoun set". Which, has a certain appeal. Or maybe I just want my own unique pronoun set.

Inside you are two wolves.

They are anthropomorphic furry lesbians.

It honestly explains so much about you.

Imagine thinking that Samus needed an awkward bespectacled sidekick and making it a fucking nerd guy, and not a really subby lesbian with a military hardware fetish.

So it turns out... the US air travel system was incredibly, deeply dependent on federal funding to just run day-to-day all this time, to the benefit of private airline shareholders, when everyone thinks that state-run trains are leeching off the government. Weird!

Big text at the top says "Parents! Are you sick of your child doing this?"
We see a drawing of a child whose body is sticking out of various parts of a room, his legs through the floor, his arm through one wall, his upper torso and face through another, scowling and sticking his tongue out and saying "fie! I will not be bound by the limits of the physical form!"

In a second panel, the large text says "end the daily hassle and all those little headaches by encasing your child in the cube!"

The boy is now hovering upside down inside a 3 dimensional cube, still scowling, but now fully intact, saying "you're a fool to think these constraints will hold. Once I am free of this prison, you have signed your own doom."

the fundamental problem of civilization is that humanity's highest calling is Hanging Out With Friends, but a small minority of humans are maniacally driven to control everyone else because no one wants to hang out with them

It's pretty wild to me that investigators have uncovered that anti-trans campaigns are largely funded by the fossil fuel industry, and that the presumed motivations are pretty directly to redirect the public conversation away from climate change... and that this isn't bigger news.

Between the first and second time reading this, I watched Wicked.

It doesn't make any more sense to me now than it did then.

This is a thing that literally happens in systems, and has happened in mine. (I haven't seen Voyager yet, but anything I might be missing from the context has almost certainly also happened in systems.)

"The subconscious" isn't a distinct part of your mind. You can be subconsciously aware of something, but it happens in the same part of your mind as conscious thought
