Hibiki has been destroying people in Japan with Lily for a minute. Manon has some rep but not a whole ton. Marisa IDK, we have MadGear down here so I see her a lot regionally but worldwide she seems more rare.

I'm also in the camp that would like to see more new characters because I think 6's have all been hits, but with so many fan favorites still missing and the updates being four character seasons that get filled out at a snail's pace, I can imagine why that isn't particularly popular.

Anyway none of our opinions matter because the moment Capcom drops a screenshot of RE Engine Tifa they have the whole world in the palm of their hand and the sooner we all accept that the better.
Even though Akuma is my favorite character, I can generally tolerate him being DLC because being a boss character that shows up late is kind of his thing. But now we have Andy and Joe being DLC, 2/3 of the series poster boys dating back to the very first game in the series and 90% of SNK crossovers.
Yep she was DLC for Revelator and even then she had to win a fucking poll to get there. Like what are we even doing.
IDK man this shit just feels like a catch 22. You get punished for your character being too popular, either because companies know they can hold them back for DLC or because Twitter goombas will complain that the Chinese buffet isn't serving pizza. It's beyond cynical and I've hated it for years.
