spending hours learning #javascript but then I go to lovable.dev and just whip up an app I've been thinking about in a matter of minutes. It almost seems pointless to dive too deep into learning JavaScript. When ai is this good just knowing the basics seems enough. #ai #nocode #buildapps

the drinking or the learning?

I'm 44, I'm learning #javascript, not to get a job but to fulfill dreams that I let slip by. When I was younger I passed on the opportunity to go to college for computer science and spent the next 10 years playing in bands, drinking and getting high. #midlifelearning #followdreams

The juxtaposition of my day job and my focus on learning #JavaScript. One moment I cleaning bird shit out of a gutter then I sat in the van reading about regular expressions. Still learning via @freecodecamp.bsky.social but also finding books a great resource. #learningjavascript #programming

I just created a personal roadmap to go from zero (ISH) to app creator and publisher. I have a few apps in mind to get me started. Roadmap continues with my #javascript learning then, #react and #expo then publish. Got 6 months to get my first basic app launched.

logic is more important than syntax, right? JS is my first real language since pascal in the 90s. I can think through most of the logic problem but get stuck writing it. The syntax is what keeps throwing me. Missing , in an object or a ; can kick up such a fuss. Part of the process though.

I've spent far too many years fumbling around avoiding really learning JavaScript. This year that ends. I've been working through the @freecodecamp.bsky.social tutorials and it's starting to make sense. #javascript
