This is what I love about blusky. Not sure if it was you or another critic but seeing the film mentioned on my feed is what made me aware of it, and now I'm going to a q&a screening this week. I love film folk on here!
Yes thank you!
Doesn't look like I can DM you, is there an email I can use?
Ok that is kind of adorable. What the hell, I put in a bid.
I'd seen @moviejawn.com on my feed repeatedly, but hearing this episode and learning more about what they're about is what finally got me to order a few issues.
As soon as QR takeover hit my local branches, I bailed. If I'm gonna risk unenforced talking and phone use at the theater, I might as well pay less per month and have friends to suffer with by joining AMC.
At an event or can followers here message you?
Just bought a copy of the next printing!
I've never heard of this and now I need it
Post your top 3 films of 2026 so far.
1. 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple
2. Sirat
3. Alpha
Yep!
Exists isn't bad. Summoning the Spirit (this might have been a CFF watch). I remember really liking Evidence (found footage) but dunno if it's held up. And The Lure for mermaids.
I can't bring myself to even try it. Once it came to my theaters I cancelled. Heard the menu for quite a bit worse with the changeover as well so maybe not missing much. :(
I'm a big found footage fan and this was the first one that gave me a headache to watch.
I saw The Fall when it played its restoration at Alamo and it elevated the film so much for me. I HAVE to see The Cell on a big screen.
Trying real hard not to give up on them because my local one is so convenient. But man I'm so sad at what's happened to them.
Drop a movie that traumatized you as a kid.
Same. I would have liked to see Teyana or Wunmi win but I'm not gonna be mad that a role like Aunt Gladys won someone an Oscar.
I saw this during Brooklyn Horror Fest. It's pretty good!
You remind me that I gotta check my wishlist is updated
I was mostly delighted by the Young Frankenstein references. That dance sequence!
So thanks to seeing this post, I decided to try Qobuz since they pay slightly more rotaltues than Tidal and have an AI policy. Moved my tracks over and while I lost a few things, this is the only streamer that still has Naatu Naatu and that is worth its weight in gold. SOLD.
I've never heard of this platform and just from a cursory glance, I think I might try them too. They're a bit cheaper than Tidal for the base streaming and the AI policy is promising. Thanks for putting this on our radars!
Moved to Tidal last year, no regrets. Very little of what I had on Spotify isn't accessible there, and a few artists have broader catalogs to boot.
Think I'm gonna cope with the Paramount news by giving @diabolikdvd.bsky.social some more money.
Tidal. Even found some stuff that hasn't been on spotify
Thank you for this.
A thread of light.
