Gorillaz at the M&S Bank Arena was one of the best things I've been to in a long time. My head hurts and my ears are ringing, and I'd do it all again in a heartbeat if I could ❤️

Got a new (official Poets of the Fall!) sketchbook, tested it out, got curious about what Was It AI was going to say about it (because that site has been my nemesis ever since I found it) and as usual, it thinks I AI-ed right onto the paper 😂

Today's sketch was of Joe Talbot from IDLES! There was a lot of replaying the Dancer music video to keep looking at that shot and to get the vibe right

Because sometimes you just have to break out the nice pencils and sketch a shot from a really cool music video ❤️ (this one's Carnival of Rust by Poets of the Fall)

My dad is a retired sound engineer, so I have a few of these. One of my favourites for its sheer mundanity was answering the phone to hear "Hi, it's Gary from China Crisis, is (dad) around?" I had to explain to him that he'd been given our landline by mistake before giving him dad's work number 😅
