"Emmett and Roscoe stand silently, their hands hovering next to their 19-Heaping-Tablespoon holsters. Between them is Clyde Hosey, the unofficial officiant of the duel. Clyde has on a pair of 3-Campfire-Baked-Bean-Cauldron denim overalls and thick Coke-Bottle glasses."
I’m HIGHLY interested in this. I think this is cool.
Perhaps I’ve just been fortunate, but I’ve always found HVAC guys to just be the best! There should be a National HVAC Guy day.
The task of de-Trumpification of science and public health will take a generation and a "Marshall Plan" to rebuild. Without a bold, expansive vision to guide us, there is no coming back. Small-bore, poll-tested versions of the future will not help us. www.thenation.com/article/soci...
I’m not quite paying close enough attention, but it feels like the Royals may need to make some changes
“Oh yeah… I knew your folks in school.” is a thing I said in the Fall.
Sorry to be overly sincere for a second, but here's why we decided to persevere through all of the bullshit and take over InfoWars.
There's just gotta be a line somewhere.
Thank you @pablo.show for letting me talk so openly about this.
This is an excellent piece. Reclaiming the public's health can be done, but we're going to have to put our backs into it a bit.
I have a lot of thoughts, but Don's are so much better articulated, so you should just read this.
Super relatable that the robot did a half instead of a full. Who has time for all those super long training runs on the weekends, right?
like you, I am old enough to remember u.s. declarations on friday that the strait was completely open
and then iran saying sure, open to all the ships we decide to let through. but everyone kind of ignored that second part
People want public spaces.
"Pancreatic cancer mRNA vaccine shows lasting results in an early trial: Scientists caution that more research is needed, but nearly all of the patients who responded to the personalized vaccine are still alive six years later."
Today I get to do one of my favorite things, which is to attend (virtually this time) the semi-annual meeting of the KU Honors Program Advisory Board. The KU Honors Program is perhaps the best in the country and a gem of the entire State of Kansas. I'm proud to be a part of it!
Have you found out where I send my wiring instructions? Please advise. 🤣
This Senate president?

This sucks from a fan perspective. But if you are not a guaranteed Top 15 NBA draft pick and you are 18-22 years old, you ONE HUNDRED PERCENT enter the portal and get that bag. That is extraordinarily rational. So I HATE this and it makes me not want to watch this sport, but good for Bryson!
As someone who pays to go to Utah Jazz games...

Appropos of nothing in particular... if you are interested in how energy markets (particularly oil) work, this is just a must read.

This has already financially ruined a generation, we just don’t know it yet.
ANALYSIS: Colorado Republicans often call for more manual election processes and hand counting of ballots - and Colorado GOP events often make a mess of that process.
Their state assembly on Saturday had 90 more votes than credentialed voters. They decided to count them anyway.
Do not build a startup that delivers that janky-ass software that OpenAI and Anthropic deliver.
That looks fantastic
For the uninitiated, UT SB 153 is a law that makes voter registration data public. Which you can then buy from the Lt. Gov's office for $1,000. Full Legal Name, address, voter ID, list of elections, etc.
Has anyone yet sued to prevent Utah SB 153 from going into effect next month? I haven't be able to find anything.
cc: @purrtah.bsky.social do you know?
Both bench guys had triple doubles. Saw it with my own (now blinded) eyes.
It was also one of the worst games I’ve ever watched
