I take no joy in this, by the way, and I realize options are slim. I just want to raise awareness of an uncomfortable truth: Bluesky does not give one single shit about their core user, or who built their popularity, or social equity, or in fact anything besides their own inevitable $$$$$$$$ payout.

I say this because the rapid decline of Twitter seemed to catch a lot of folks completely off guard.
Furs of a certain age remember jumping platforms every few years, but for younger furs: whatever portability means to you (diversification, linktree, day job): I would start thinking about that now.

I know nobody wants to hear this but considering how hostile (and also like ...genuinely stupid) the BS devs have been, we probably have, like, 5 years or less on this platform. Less if they think (correctly or not) that mass action on "undesirable" users/content will benefit their inevitable IPO.

Inside a dark hexagonal frame, Elder Tilman (a hare) glares sidelong at Elder Hartley (a deer), who stares straight ahead, looking stressed, and holds up his hand between himself and Elder Tilman. Concentric hexagons vanish into the distance behind them.

Campo Largo Route 2: Bifurcados, Ch. 1-6, is now available to the public!

Elder Hartley has had enough. One more morning and he'll have solved his companion problem.

Just needs to get through a lesson with this Iván guy first...

Sure thing, I looked at the steps you've taken and you're pretty much doing what you should be doing. Hopefully we can all collectively get you over the finish line. (That is a good idea to call though). I'm rooting for you 👏

Hello boys, I just muted all reblogs on this app with the specific intent of "I want to see more content from the people I actually follow" and when I refreshed the TL, this exchange is literally the first thing I saw and I just thought you would both want to know that

Don't forget to update your title while you're at it. People think they can't update their title beyond whatever their current HR sociopath deigns to bestow upon them, but your job title should be what you actually DO. People who want to hire you want to know what you're ACTUALLY doing.

For additional context, a forebearance is a grace period from a mortgage company and if you don't pay it when it's due, they often start foreclosure proceedings. Owning a home is a life-changing asset, and for me personally has literally kept me out of bankruptcy this year. This is a big one.

Oof, it's go time on this one. A forebearance is serious stuff and this one is almost up.

This is an impossible lift for one person but the total amount is absolutely doable for us as a group. I donated; please consider donating if it's within your means. Let's keep this furry in his house.

I didn't make it to the bar but can you add me almost getting hit by a snowplow or school bus in a subsequent scene? Thanks in advance 🤗

(This is a joke for third parties observing)

The cover of The Dry Spell by Ryan Loup-Glissant, which shows the title of the book on a label of what appears to b e a Whiskey bottle with some smoke around it. Above that is an anthropomorphic wolf in prohibition-era garb and his hand is turning werewolfy. To the bottom right is an anthropomorphic deer woman in a red dress looking sinister.

Be advised, the prohibition era belongs to the furries now. All historical depictions of prohibition era United States must now exclusively feature animal people. Violators will be reeducated. Thank you.

as someone who worked professionally for years in accounts receivable/with collections agencies, this is basically fishing and you can 100% ignore it with no consequences (and fuck them for this pathetic attempt)

So can I, but when you replace the head unit with a big screen, you have to cycle through ALL your presets instead of just touching the one you want, which is more distracting than looking at the back window when y...WAIT A MINUTE, ARE YOU ARGUING WITH MY OLD MAN OPINION? WHO SAID YOU COULD DO THAT🤣

I think if your company does, or has ever done, anything that makes One Billion Dollars and still somehow "need" to lay off anyone ever, you should be, at minimum, considered too stupid and Bad At Business to be employed ever again for the remainder of your life

I am not at all impressed with a backup camera especially since I lose physical radio buttons. A replacement for Looking Behind Me is not worth the loss of functionality requiring me to take my eyes off the road to change the radio station. I remain unimpressed 😁

I struggle to think of a single car infotainment/cabin functionality "upgrade" since power windows became commonplace that has actually meaningfully improved the experience of driving a car.

I'm really excited for you all to hear the bizarre organ shenanigans I got up to recording for @toledo.bsky.social's @campolargo.bsky.social! It's been really gratifying to learn how to record my home instrument well ^_^
