I take no joy in this, by the way, and I realize options are slim. I just want to raise awareness of an uncomfortable truth: Bluesky does not give one single shit about their core user, or who built their popularity, or social equity, or in fact anything besides their own inevitable $$$$$$$$ payout.

I say this because the rapid decline of Twitter seemed to catch a lot of folks completely off guard.
Furs of a certain age remember jumping platforms every few years, but for younger furs: whatever portability means to you (diversification, linktree, day job): I would start thinking about that now.

I know nobody wants to hear this but considering how hostile (and also like ...genuinely stupid) the BS devs have been, we probably have, like, 5 years or less on this platform. Less if they think (correctly or not) that mass action on "undesirable" users/content will benefit their inevitable IPO.

Don't forget to update your title while you're at it. People think they can't update their title beyond whatever their current HR sociopath deigns to bestow upon them, but your job title should be what you actually DO. People who want to hire you want to know what you're ACTUALLY doing.

For additional context, a forebearance is a grace period from a mortgage company and if you don't pay it when it's due, they often start foreclosure proceedings. Owning a home is a life-changing asset, and for me personally has literally kept me out of bankruptcy this year. This is a big one.

Oof, it's go time on this one. A forebearance is serious stuff and this one is almost up.

I am not at all impressed with a backup camera especially since I lose physical radio buttons. A replacement for Looking Behind Me is not worth the loss of functionality requiring me to take my eyes off the road to change the radio station. I remain unimpressed 😁

I struggle to think of a single car infotainment/cabin functionality "upgrade" since power windows became commonplace that has actually meaningfully improved the experience of driving a car.
