I've been battling my GP over something like this for a few months. Made national and local news. Happy to take you through what has happened for me.

I've made my own FOI requests to JPMP which have turned up some interesting results.
I'm also trying really hard to get the ICB to do something meaningful, rather than just "ask" the practice to do their job.

The majority of them were probably requests from the press, with some other people asking pointed questions instead of actually complaining.

The fact that GPs haven’t undertaken any further training is so telling. Training breeds understanding and confidence. Not doing it is an excuse to not deal with us because they’re not confident. Confident to prescribe hormones to cis people though.

Ah, I see, ceasing this service for 0.07% of their patients will definitely free up vast amounts of time and resources.

This is absolutely insane. The GPs responsible for this need to be prosecuted or something

Just spoke to the patients at Nottingham the GP who had care withdrawn.

Some shocking details.

One includes where the GP claiming that taking hrt from the GP was "comparable to shoplifting".
