Its nice to play a game that has me trying to race through a dozen puzzles (literally AND figuratively) to deal effective damage

in a very funny way it reminds me of playing PSO1 and using the weapon swap mini menu mid combat, which is only a charming feature to somebody like me

It has a type of sensibility about it that brings me to why i love “stiff” combat. every other action game ive played or seen recently loves to give you a million combat strings, easy launchers, heavily emphasized perfect defense/forgiving defense maneuvers etc

Also i gotta say this game has such a pleasantly refreshing movement and combat system. It feels so good to play platformer that makes you heavily consider your limitations, and a combat game that doesnt try to give you every possible option at all times

i have no clue if ABA is actually good at all right now because i don't think i've ever watched anyone else play her yet. however i fucking love ABA and i've always loved ABA and everyones strongly claiming that everybody is viable with 2.0 so i'm willing to try

i don't wanna say this with the immediacy that it comes off with because i do personally enjoy fighting games as well and i want to see them do well but. with DLC methods like this is it any mystery why modern fighting games struggle so fucking much LMAO

however ouuugughgghhghh i want to try one of each of these characters and it'd be overall cheaper to just get these big ass packs but it still would cost half the price of the damn game. idk how fuckin anyone keeps up with these things

however there's so much dlc for ggst that i honestly only bought Slayer. i don't have the confidence to buy the season passes to get the other characters even though ABA is of great interest to me

unfortunately i've now deeply sold myself on playing a fighting game in a non-casual sense but fortunately i've chosen to main slayer in gg strive and king in tekken 8 so it's gonna be balanced out by doing the stupidest shit known to man to people in the local area
