We visited the Hanoi Hilton a few days ago and I said to my husband that it was a shame they didn't have a Private Bone Spurs cell there for him.

I had very similar thoughts when visiting Hong Kong about 18 months ago.

Thank you James. It really is a wonderful place. And as an added bonus, our wonderful old mate from Lamma Island is flying down on Thursday from HK to meet up with us for a couple of days.

So today's challenge is for us to find an additional suitcase here in Hoi An so we can actually take the two suits and two dresses Mr M and I are having made for us. And we haven't even started souvenir shopping yet...

Thank you, we really are! It's actually our honeymoon and we've both wanted to come to Vietnam for years so has been wonderful to finally get here. Landed in Hanoi a week ago and got to Hoi An yesterday.

I love getting off the beaten track in HK. A very dear friend of ours lives out on Lamma Island overlooking the beach with his house backing into the jungle. Such a contrast to the full on energy of Central and Kowloon.

WW1 and the Royal Pavilion Brighton & Hove Museums

I live in Brighton and during WWI the Pavillion was converted into a military hospital for Indian soldiers. Interesting bit of history.

Only just!! I am a Londoner by birth and now feel so lucky to live in Hove. Wouldn't be anywhere other than Brighton and Hove.

We‘re currently waiting for a flight to Da Nang and our sybaritic phase shall behind in Hoi An this evening. Looks like you’re managing to cope with it ok!

Yes! We're here on honeymoon. Arrived in Hanoi on Monday and heading down to Hoi An for some beach time this afternoon!
