This is how I felt about Deniz Camp’s newly announced book. Few creators could get me on board for a zombie book: he’s one of them.

@adamd.bsky.social I feel like you’ll know immediately
Anybody know who drew this? My friend found it hung up at a restaurant. I’m thinking Ed McGuinness or maybe Mike Wieringo.
Definitely. Talking to people who love Superman like I do about it really helped me appreciate all the things I did like even more and appreciate the movie more in general
Not sure how much this counts
Watching it again Friday and I really do think I’ll enjoy it more knowing about that going in. It’s one thing to dislike a choice, but it’s different to experience unexpected disappointment
Weird way of thinking about it maybe but a movie that makes so many people care about Superman again in a way that matters makes me happier than a better movie would have (ideally would’ve had both but 🤷🏻♂️)
I agree with this 100%. And every person irl I’ve talked to or that my friends have talked to have loved the movie so I guess it worked. Initially was disappointed in some ways but if this gets everybody to love Superman, we can work on the nuances later
My mom told me yesterday after we saw a box of Milkbones with Krypto on it that she saw a trailer for it the other day and thought it looked like something she would actually really enjoy
An illustration of superman revealing their costume underneath their clothes
A commission I did recently.
I'll be back taking commissions in June. Email me or visit my shop for info.

Superman desperately scanning the street during a fight to find the most morally acceptable car to throw, knowing not everyone has insurance, and lost of transport can ruin a life. A wave of incredible relief washes over him as he spots the hard geometric lines, and silver paintless sheen, of a Cybertruck
Perfect, no notes.
Would be perfect if the lightning bolt was right (not complaining, just the only nitpick I have)
Oh god then I’d actually have to go see it
Wow this reminds me of something. Wonder what it is. I guess we’ll never know
I’ve gotta finish this. I remember liking the first few issues I read
Lois seems like she could be the strongest part of the movie. Glad she’s a strong character of her own with her own opinions instead of just love interest who is just there to support anything Superman does
Big fan of him actually getting upset about people trying to keep him from getting involved in helping people. Instead of perpetually calm and wholesome Superman that’s become so big lately
Rachel Broshanan Lois save me. Save me Rachel Broshanan Lois. Rachel Broshanan Lois save me
A good opportunity for me to point out that Superman: Secret Identity by Kurt Busiek & Stuart Immonen is one of the greatest Superman comics ever. Read it if you haven't.
Telling a Jewish person they’re using N*zi eugenics by saying black people know what bagels are should be one of the most insane replies ever, yet based on your past posts, it’s probably not near the top of the list unfortunately
Superman: Secret Identity by Kurt Busiek and Stuart Immonen
I can't honestly say enough good things about this whole book.
I also can't tell you how many times I've read it. But I can tell you each time it's just as perfect as it was the first time.
@kurtbusiek.bsky.social crafts a damn fine story. Stuart Immonen's art is gorgeous.

Wow I didn’t think anyone else remembered Swat Kats
100% of Superman fans interviewed on the street said K%llgore was their favorite Superman villain
A good Scott and Magneto are really all I need. However I do respect Storm very much so if they butcher her I would be upset
Really good movie! Maybe a little overhyped but definitely worth watching. Everyone is great but Florence Pugh and Lewis Pullman are standouts for sure. They handled the themes of the movie very well for an MCU movie
About to watch Thunderbolts because I first assumed it was going to be terrible and then it got insanely great reviews from everyone. Not sure what I’m getting into here
Adapting Alan Moore’s Swamp Thing into a children’s animated film by Dreamworks and we’re calling it Moss Baby
Dawg…
Also the height of MCU What If’s creativity
