The problem we had with SD performance was netcode. Even though we had a dedicated server, the 1st person into a world chunk acts as the server for that chunk. Fine if everyone is spread out, but 9 of you pile in for a boss fight but the SD user is the first there, he's the server for the fight

I've had it a couple of years now but I'm still really impressed with the 3d printed cyclone separator I added to my Henry shop vac ๐Ÿ˜

I remember during the pandemic I realised that it took nearly 4 years to be able to get something better than my 2070Super for the ยฃ450 I paid for it.

Sure, but that was never going to be a thing. My point isn't that they should have carried on with the old connectors for ever.

If they had either stuck with the slightly larger pins of the PCIe 8pin, or they had gone for 16 pins instead of 12, it would have created more headroom.

This is completely expected though, right? If you chose a smaller connector, and put more power over it, you're going to remove the overhead for coping with issues. It may be 'in spec' for the connector, but its ability to deal with wear and misalignment with be seriously diminished.

It's great to see the progress you're making with this and all the different manufacturing disciplines you're hitting along the way. Will it fit in a 1u sized gap?
