Long story short, we're doing way better than expected in terms of traction for what was gonna be a small project, so we delayed to squeeze in some additional polish time. We're really excited to get this in your hands ASAP, but we also want to make sure you love it when you do get to play it.

Hell, you can do voice acting even if you're a no-budget indie. We only had the money for two voice actors for our first game, Splatter, but needed three voiced characters. Turns out, devs also have voices! I'm never doing it again but nobody's complained about my VO performance.
this is very true. our current project has a very low budget, so instead of going to the slop mines we:
* came up with a game concept with a limited cast
* converted our text dialogue sequences to use chirps instead of voices
and nobody has complained about it!
hey! not our usual saturday post but i recorded this clip kinda late last night and didn't think it was a good time to upload. anyway, we've been working on some more advanced platforming mechanics.

jenny won't gain additional platforming abilities in this game (as her upgrades are all optional right now and we don't want to softlock players who didn't buy the right stuff) but we're looking to do a lot more with interactable parts of the environment.

nah, it's totally reasonable to want to play the game with a completely mainstream controller.
