This is a misleading graphic and the headline is simply false. Federal taxes include more than the income tax. Many middle income families pay more in FICA taxes than they do income tax. And the US tax system includes state and local taxes.

Once Trump is out of power, we need to give him the full Akhenaten treatment. Remove his name from everything. Erase his existence from history. The lists of US presidents will just skip his two terms.
Most of all, we need to make sure he knows it’s going to happen.
