Sculptor model of a walking lion. The lion is beautifully modeled and has a splendid forward motion. The mane is only roughly indicated with slight scratch instead of the usual incisions.
Condition: The greater part of each leg is missing. One ear is broken and there are numerous scratches and discolorations on the body.

Dark green basalt heart scarab inscribed for Padjhrmtn. The inscription is seven lines. The head of the scarab merges into the notched clypeus. The front edge of the porthorax curves towards the front; the opposite is true of the rear edge. A double line forms a border around the prothorax. The wing cases are separated by a double line, and there is a "V" shaped mark on each wing case which springs from the prothorax. The legs are given in relief, and the hairs on the front leg are indicated by incised lines. The scarab is pierced for suspension from side to side between the front and middle legs.
Condition: Worn, light colored incrustation in some hollows.

Head of a king in unidentified green stone, originally furnished with back pillar. Full, almost square face with eyes and brows originally inlaid, bull neck. Skin areas polished scalp area dull and covered with close fitting ‘cap’ with small, rounded flaps near ears; uraeus with wide curve.
Condition: Inlays lost, right eyelid chipped. Ears slightly chipped. Headdress apparently has been hammered though possibly it was covered with metal fitting in antiquity.

Fragment of a seated limestone statue of the Vizier and Mayor Ptahmose. Ptahmose wears a long skirt which laps over on his left side. This garment reaches down nearly to his ankles. His left hand is open, palm down, on his right knee, fist down, holding a double piece of linen which is pleated and fringed. The upper part of the body from the waist up is missing. All four sides of the chair upon which Ptahmose sits are carved with relief to imitate wood openwork. On the front of the skirt is a vertical column of hieroglyphs, and
there are two columns of hieroglyphs on the back pillar.
Condition: Upper part of figure missing; stone blackened; large chips on seat and figure.

White marble female head with left hand grasping a strand of the hair. Preserved to base of neck only. Probably from a statuette of Venus Anadyomene.
Condition: Face weathered. No trace of color. Missing portion on right side of head suggests right hand was probably also held at head.

One wooden lion's head, probably from a piece of furniture. The lion is shown, mouth open, its snout curved up in a snarl. The ears are back against head, the back of which is flat, and provided with a square dowel with peg stop still in place. The teeth are shown in two flat rows on upper and lower jaws. No canines are present. The ruff spreads out below the lower jaw and terminates in large flame like fringe. The eyes are moderately deeply set, the rim being copper the pupil of gold leaf. A piece of crystal may have been placed over this to complete the illusion. The cheek bones are prominent and emphasize the snarl. The interior of the mouth is painted red, the teeth white. Roof of the mouth sports rugae.

Condition: Right side of the piece is much damaged. A gaping crack extends through the eye socket from the snout all the way to the rear. At least seven other longitudinal cracks radiate in a fan shape. The right eye setting and gilding is lost. Lost also is the right hand side of the nose. The gesso covering of the left hand side is completely gone as compared with that of the right. The rim of the left eye, though in place, has been transformed into azurite with little copper left. The paint on the white mouth interior is fairly well preserved the white of the teeth less so. The great amount of damage appears on the left side of the head.

Upper portion of a pink and black mottled granite statue of a king, preserved from just below the waist up. He wears a nemes with uraeus. The head of the uraeus is gone and there is no indication of a tail. The nemes rests low upon the forehead. The brows in relief dip slightly toward the root of the nose. The eyeballs are well rounded. The lips are full but the mouth is relatively small. The space between the base of the nose and upper lip is short. The cheeks are full. The lappets of the nemes are striated horizontally. A pronounced median line and navel with an additional division between rib cage and abdomen. The broad, flat topped back pillar ends at the shoulder blades. The arms and shoulders are mostly gone but the portion remaining shows the arms were at the sides. Probably from a striding statue.
Condition: Arms mostly gone (parts remaining are inner edges on both sides). Right shoulder gone from nemes outwards. Small part of left shoulder mostly gone. Three large chips in wings of nemes. Chin chipped. Large chip in left breast. Other small chips. Traces of red, green and yellow pigment over the piece which is not ancient as a portion is in a chip.
