Hey, remember when we had a mostly-daily post about all the other stuff you're not paying attention to?
Big 12 indoor track champs:
Men finish second, women finish fourth.
Can't say nobody saw this coming, although we didn't expect it until after the season For Reasons.
But hey, it got Jon to write something about basketball.

OH HEY GARY SPANI ON STAGE FOR FAMILY PICTURES
Asked where he grew the most over the last two years, Klein stresses that getting out of his comfort zone, being with a different team, in a different conference, did wonders for him.
And that's the end of the remarks.
"Coach Snyder facetimed me" is the wildest thing said so far
Okay, I am not happy about Klein saying "we're going to have a schematic advantage" because Charlie Weis has scarred us all
Klein gives big thanks to Mike Elko and the A&M staff, too. Says they made this possible.
Klein's thanks to Klieman for retaning him originally, for promoting him, for continuing to mentor him while he was at A&M... serious chills, y'all. And then "Coach Snyder... thank you. Thank you for creating that Powercat the year I was born."
Gene Taylor reports that when Chris Klieman came in to tell him he was returing, Klieman told him to call Collin Klein.
Klein told Taylor he was taking the job before they even discussed any terms.
Big 12 Championship. One of just three coaches in school history with a conference crown.
7-0 vs KU

Put him in the Ring. And I wouldn't say no to a bust outside Vanier.
Derek Young is saying Chris Klieman should be in the Ring of Honor and my stance is "Duh?"
second-winningest coach in school history
meets coaching eligiblity requirements for the CFB HoF
Only coach in school history to beat Kansas more than once and never lose to them
He retired yesterday.
It's semi-official.
The Mercury reports that Collin Klein will be introduced as K-State's new head football coach tomorrow, followed by an appearance at the men's basketball game on Saturday.
Off to a good start.
Nothing is absolutely confirmed yet, but there is way too much smoke from everywhere, including College Station.
The Cats escape with a 24-14 win, but it was ugly for 40 minutes and raises more questions. Our recap, thoughts, players of the game (and the year):
Cats are bowl eligible, beating Colorado 24-14.
Recap coming. It's going to be depressing.
