I don't often do threads breaking down our game launches anymore, but the launch we just had for Piece by Piece was so weird and batshit

We ended up with roughly x3 as many sales as we had hoped for, all due to a crazy naming coincidence

He's my favourite character, I have to resist pasting him everywhere!

Almost wrapping up our first title after finding an ace publisher so things changed but before that, a publisher was the best and safest route for us, grants were off the table as some team members are scattered across Europe, happy to answer whatever! haha

This will probably pop up a ton, especially now, but figuring out a way to get a prototype done and some publishers wanting vertical slices or beyond makes it rough
