Browsers, sure. But not usually terminals.
Software developers fail in two ways:
ā They build the thing wrong
ā They build the wrong thing
Agentic development magnifies both of these.

Claude is now canceling per-seat enterprise licenses and moving these accounts to straight per-token consumption models. The trend continues.
Gonna we weird headlines when thereās a recall recall.
Devastated to hear the entire Marvel Studiosās Visual Development team has been let go. This was my old home but more importantly, the home of so many incredible artists and peers.
Absolutely heartbreaking š
Sending all my impacted peers my love and support. Please reach out if you need anything!
So much conflict is, at its root, just misunderstanding.
Journalists know that losing the Wayback Machine would be a nightmare: www.wired.com/story/the-in...
I usually put mutation methods on the entity being mutated. The aggregate root is still responsible for enforcing the invariants on the whole aggregate, but that doesn't mean child entities should all be just DTOs - I view that as an antipattern. Does that help?
Absolutely burns me up that he's killing these projects just as we're taking the most promising new medical technology in my lifetime and having smart researchers apply it to all the illnesses we haven't been able to crack yet.
This is a good thing, and hopefully pushes back against the endless enshittification of products by vendors:

EFF is leaving X/Twitter.
Sorry but it's about freaking time.

This "we weren't getting engagement anymore" nonsense is weak sauce.

For those of us who never used all of our Bluesky invite codes before they went away, they should be turned into uninvite codes where we can delete accounts of our choice
Effective 2025 federal tax rates paid by these corporations:

This is what a rigged system looks like.
Git worktrees are the new hotness now that agents can work on parallel instances of your codebase. What they donāt solve is the port conflict problem, thatās where aspire run/start āisolated comes!

"To put it bluntly, an X post today receives less than 3% of the views a single tweet delivered seven years ago."
If you think it is necessary to be on Twitter to communicate your fact-based worldview, the reality is that worldview is being smothered.
Do you ever want to quickly measure code execution time while debugging?
Just released DebugTimer ā a simple source-only .NET package for development-time performance diagnostics.

One of the foundational promises of cloud computing is elastic, near-infinite scalability. So why is Anthropic, running on the infrastructure of Amazon and Google, throttling its users during peak hours?

It is unfortunate that the side of the moon we rarely see is typically referred to as the dark side, but in the post she referenced it even calls it by the more apt name āfar sideā so itās harder to credit the ādarkā name with the misunderstandingā¦
Republicans in Congress support this.
