I miss "Important If True"
It was not very cool to be the Anything Of England after the Revolutionary War.
the Holy Week services are when all the weird shit comes out. recommended
let me get this straight... all four astronauts have left integrity behind... and people applaud this? society
NOW: B52 bombers are literally in the air on their way to Iran and hundreds of thousands of Iranians are in the streets waving flags and surrounding bridges & power plants.
Difficult to imagine this has any precedent in modern warfare.

ok #gameaudio people of the PNW, I have an ask of you.
Our Sonic Landscape is coming up and I'm looking to spread the word. I would greatly appreciate if you would share this news with another audio person to let them know about it. especially if they aren't on this site.

I just buy used. It's so hard to find properly "ethically sourced" stuff that isn't crazy expensive.
Imo, the next best thing is reusing the clothes that already exist in the world and get as much out of them as we can.
Thinking about Wild Zero AGAIN!?
Also, I happened to play "999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Door" not long after reading Cat's Cradle, and was pleasantly surprised to see it referenced. I won't say what because spoilers, but that was a fun coincidence for me
I've read a few different Kurt Vonnegut books lately and it turns out I like his books a lot. Slaughterhouse Five is his biggest, but I also really enjoyed Breakfast of Champions and Cat's Cradle.
I've not read Player Piano, but it seems timely.
This post is inspired by reading the liner notes for "The Carl Stalling Project Vol 1" (a composer for Looney Tunes). There were some interesting notes about a specific cartoon, so I wanted to watch it. Unfortunately, it ends with black face ๐ฌ
Me reading about the craft of making old Looney Tunes cartoons: "Oh yeah, this rules! I'm inspired by the artistry and effort that goes into these. Amazing! I want to share this with my kids!"
Me watching an old Looney Tunes cartoon: "Oh no, oh fuck, this is really fucking racist. Shit"
A Little Owl is bundled in a baby blue towel on a table with an expression of malcontent. His eyes are squinted and slightly crossed, and match his waxy yellow beak in colour. He appears chinless, recessing his head into his body; eyes at the same level as his shoulders and squashed as though someone had tried resizing him in a Word document and forgot to lock the aspect ratio.
A Little Owl was rescued after falling down a chimney. South Essex Wildlife Hospital reported he was "dirty and dehydrated but soon on his way back home". Want to donate to SEWH? southessexwildlife.org/donate Source: fb.com/555952912555... #owlsintowels ๐๐ฆ
The trailers did this movie dirty. I had some family over to visit for a long weekend, and one evening I put this on with the intent of watching something light-hearted and goofy to take our mind off stuff.
Whoops!
I liked the movie, but I would not have picked it that night ๐
Happy Birthday Bundle of Joy!
My introspective, minigame-dad-simulator, is turning one today! It's been an incredible year, and I'm so grateful to everyone who has played BoJ.
I can't wait to celebrate future birthdays & watch my lil' video game kiddo grow!

I think I've only played it once, but I still think about it a lot.
From Walt Disney's Mickey Mouse Vol. 3: The Sacred Jewel Mickey hands off a pistol to Minnie as they, and Dippy Dog/Goofy, run down a flight of spiraling stairs. Mickey: Here! Take this -- and use it too, if y' get into a jam! Minnie: My -- my goodness! I can't shoot people!
Samuel L. Jackson, wearing a beret and a cape. Walking in the rain lookin' cool AF
I don't know if anyone but me remembers "Basic" (2003), but it has both Samuel L. Jackson and John Travolta, and those two are having a great time in that movie.
It's a dumb movie that thinks it's a smart movie, but I have a ton of fun watching it.
lmao, i'm not explaining heterosexuality to my three-year-old

9 video game covers, arranged in a grid. Harvest Moon 64, Sonic Adventure 2, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Ikaruga, Sim City 3000, Shenmue, Final Fantasy VII, Pokemon Red, 1000xResist
I think these are #my9games. Each of these definitely takes up a large part of my brain.
Special shoutout to @sunsetvisitor.studio for 1000xResist, the only game on here that managed to worm its way so deeply into my brain as an adult rather than as a child or teenager.
Then I remembered it was a quick outline of how I wanted to order the layers of a scrolling background in one of my game projects
Found this nature poem in an old text file on my computer. I thought it was neat, but I don't read much poetry, so I was trying to remember where I found and why I had bothered to save it.

Sonic The Hedgehog
The original Japanese manual for 'Sonic The Hedgehog' has cute images on how to take care, or not take care, of your carts.
This image is for telling you to take a break from gaming every once in a while, and has both the sketch & colored version of it.
