Front cover star is Eilidh Bradley, a lovely soul who died in tragic circumstances in 2014. Her band, Solar Race, were very decent, and she sparkled.

Reform, in theory, could have been a gift to Labour: they divided the Right-wing vote. All Labour had to do was govern in a way that held their Center-Left coalition together

Instead, they chose to act foolishly and blow up their own coalition in pursuit of a voting base with no interest in them

Neighbours in the Sandford St area of Salford clubbed together after the First World War to provide a memorial for the men of the neighbourhood who died.

Photographed here October 1961.

Sadly, the Imperial War Museum have designated it as "lost".

This was published on April 1st, but no joke, it's one of the finest things he's written and I don't say that lightly.

A nourishing and seductively enjoyable read.

Morrissey posted this today. Given that I have read or heard Johnny, Mike, and Andy all saying it was Morrissey's idea, and the photographer, Stephen Wright, is on record saying "It was Morrissey's idea to go to Salford Lads Club", I have no idea why he woke up today to make this point.
