Tunnels, bridges, power lines, small hydro - infrastructure central 🇳🇴
This is about a $50 million dollar tunnel serving a small surf town with about 20 permanent residents.
Trollfjord I hydro is 3.2 MW, 178m head, 61% CF. It’s easy when you have mountains and lots of rainfall. 🔌💡
Typical household electrical infrastructure - in a country where electricity is cheap, abundant, and infinitely renewable, and fuel is expensive. 🇳🇴
The last couple of days in 🇳🇴. Svolvær-Geita hike, Kongstinden-area ski, Festvågtind hike near Henningsvær.
And a couple more good shots from the last few days.
Rest day hike up Hoeven. “Good for grandma and the baby.”
Finally got a clear day to go ski the south side of Rundfjellet. We’ve started up it twice before and bailed because of the wind. 🇳🇴
Varden in the wind 🇳🇴
Kleppstadheia, surfing at Unstad, Varden. 🇳🇴
When in doubt, just keep going.
Yes - this place is real (drone shot is not mine). The most beautiful soccer field in the world. Henningsvær, 🇳🇴
and from our friends on Rundfjellet
Sautinden 🇳🇴

Fuel cost for my car is going to be exactly the same tomorrow as it is today. Just saying.
This one is not going to be difficult for the courts. It’s blatantly unconstitutional.
I don’t know anything about them, but I’m suspicious of all financing schemes. There’s no free lunch. I’d rather just pay for stuff and own it if I can.
I continue to recommend them. But as always, I’d get multiple quotes.
What trailbreaking was like yesterday during the storm.
Thank you to Rep. Clancy, Senator Curtis, and Congressman Kennedy for a great event at BYU tonight. Fun to see all the students lined to talk to Rep. Clancy afterwards.
There is now more snow in the 15-day forecast for my house than we’ve had all winter. ❄️🎉
The 2026 Barkley Marathons is over. There are no finishers. #BM100
I’m pretty sure Utah has benefited from this as well. Yes - we should get the word out.
Utah friends - we will be hosting an open discussion on environmental policy with Rep. Tyler Clancy on Monday at 6pm at BYU. Hope you can join us!
