Kew is my favourite royal palace. Knowing what happened there both to George and to Charlotte makes it such a sombre and poignant place.
Seeing her chair in Kew Palace always moves me.

Oh my!
I’m fascinated by how ancient Rome has been used throughout history as a licence for showing audiences all manner of thirst traps and other sins which would otherwise be caught by the censors! Good for Victoria!
Bluesky academics, let’s get to know each other. Quote this & tell me:
1) A project you are working on.
2) An odd idea that you aren’t working on but keep thinking about.

2) Pádraig Pearse and Cú Chulainn
Hi hi - I’m Mollie, another refugee from Twitter looking for new friends!
I’m between a Masters and a PhD in British and Irish History.
My main area of interest is 18th-19th C political thought.
I’m currently writing about radical classicism.
Passionate about making education more accessible!
I am loving these starter packs. Hundreds of historians followed at the touch of a button!
