Cannot wait. I got to talk to the team behind this in 2023, who told me: "Believe it or not, this is 100% stop-motion, including the explosions and sawdust. We filmed the sawdust separately (tried millions of takes...) and layered the best version with the characters."

I tried it because I saw an indie animator who said they used them. but i don't like its quality of line and just how easy it is to accidentally rub the ink off. maybe it was fine for what they wanted but I'm going back to nib pens.

been experimenting with using microns for lineart instead of dip pens. Thought it would save some time but I absolutely hate the results.

I think after i post my next art piece I might try switching styles. It's been eating at me a while but I think i have a bad habit of over blending brush strokes. It makes me jealous seeing other artists being able to control texture without needing to blend
