I was there last night, too. But I went to a lot of the anti nuclear/anti security bill protests 10 plus years ago. Looking at where I was, there seemed to be a good number of people across the street but cops also were purposly keeping people moving, too.

perhaps being able to place a chokehold on the global economy -- either through a blockade on a waterway or being a buffer state between 2 economic superpowers -- is a bigger deterrent to war than a nuclear weapon.

tho we probably only need to wait for the nuclear deterrent once to find out.
