There’s nothing like slowly watching someone like their way through my passion fic that very few people read and hope—when I should know better—that they leave a comment or reblog it when they get to the latest chapter. Please, dear reader, the world is burning. I need this. #ficwriterproblems

Me, 15 minutes into caramelizing onions

The closer they got to the planet before them, the less they could see the visual noise of imperial interference, until the void of the desert was the only thing they knew. Endless stretches of sand, endless stretches of emptiness. Civilization was down there somewhere, but you would be cold and alone until you managed to find it. The Empire's message was clear: if you dared to come here...there would be no welcome for you.

I used to do daily affirmation videos about “one thing I love about me today” to help with self love and confidence. I think to get more confident with my writing, I’m going to start doing something similar. Unedited, uncaring. “One thing I wrote today that I love.”
