Not sure this is true of what has happened in previous seasons, season before last we won something mad like 16 of last 18, last year we were never in it, season 3 years ago injuries killed us. All 3 were different. That being said Arteta doesn’t appear to be changing things that need to be now.

I think the disappointing thing I’m having with Arsenal right now, is we have so much depth, yet all of them appear to be leggy and tired. I think arteta is enabling that excuse too much for them. Compared to previous season a lot of the players minutes are down. #arsenal

Well, that was a shit show of a second half Arsenal. I have continuously been saying we have been shit at the start of the second half since the turn of the year. Today was not an exception. Let’s hope we use this as inspiration and not confidence smashing.

The final Sunday is a weird one. It’s just the league cup, you know the one that doesn’t really matter, except it feels like this year it really really does. Momentum and confidence from that genuinely could take us so far this season. I’ve never wanted to win a league cup game more #arsenal

Merino is the one isn’t he. The forward injuries earlier in the season blocked him a little from helping there. He doesn’t seem to trust the other two. Still think we could do with one more for Zubi back up.

I don’t know how we do it, and next season is a long way away still, but we need to find a way to get rice and Zubi more rested next year. Rice has battled through better, but you can tell both are dangerously close to the red zone.
