The cover of "Mooncroft Manor." Two figures embrace in the middle of a cluttered room. One illuminates the space with a magical flame; the other prepares to stab their companion in the back with a dagger. The piece is framed by curtains, as if the viewer were peeking from somewhere hidden.

MOONCROFT MANOR is now live on Backerkit! Scheme, research, duel, seduce, and betray in this social-competitive game about mages destroying themselves in their hubristic pursuit of power. #rpg #ttrpg #indie #crowdfunding

A spread from "Mooncroft Manor", describing the Biomancy Thesis. On the left page, a shirtless figure with hide pants, a long fur cape, and braided hair peers down solemnly at a strange glowing plant. The plant's leafy tendrils snake down to the skeleton of a deer, apparently draining it of its lifeforce.

In MOONCROFT MANOR, the Biomancy thesis interrogates life itself. What makes a living thing useful—beautiful—worthwhile Seize the mantle from the gods and create wondrous new life from nothing.

But beware: love is not universally understood, and creations often turn on their creators.

My friends and I did some Actual Plays for some #TTRPG projects that are currently crowdfunding. They're both awesome games made by awesome people.

Great post, Sam! Really appreciate your honesty and it's nice to know I haven't been the only one to screw things up. I love that you keep emphasizing communication with commanders and being honest when stuff happens, which is regularly a terrifying prospect but always ends up being the best move.

screenshot of a blogpost. text reads:

"Cataphracts Design Diary #4
"Cataphracts commanders: there is no actionable intelligence in this post. Read on. Previous design diaries: Entry #1, Entry #2, Entry #3.

"After many months away—and with OVER/UNDER in the middle—I return to the siege."

what's up gamers, Cataphracts Design Diary #4 is here! this one's about the many mistakes I've made as referee and how I fixed them, including that one time I lagged out of my game for three months after OVER/UNDER ended. check it out: samsorensen.blot.im/cataphracts-...

First post, and I guess it's going to be about Over/Under because I will never be free of it. A beautiful, terrifying, overwhelming month, that I went into with zero expectations but came out with a lot of friends. Also, some really cool art from @d20plusmodifier.bsky.social .
