Maybe this was a break a rest (definitely not procrastinating) before having to be incredibly focused on my academic responsibilites for at least a week

When you want to make sure the characters will be okay after the conflict, internal and external, they go through but it takes the entire book to resolve because that's the plot of the story

Binge-reading a book when I have an exam to study for, other books and essays to read, and assignments to work on because I want to see everything going okay for the characters at the end

I understand it must be very intimidating seeing pro-interviewer Amaan ready to be interviewed but please please, do it for us, we want to see him talk about his project 🥺💐💐💐💐

Not to mention how deeply sexist and oftentimes racist these kinds of comments are, one would think enjoying the explicitly noncolonial and anti-orientalist show would make fans think twice about posting them on our Youtube page! But alas!

Some of you are WAY too comfortable calling women in media "a terrible bitch" on posts that are LITERALLY about that morally-nuanced woman. Your resistance to thinking outside of a white supremacist and individualistic mindset is killing your ability to see complex characters and it shows!

It becomes terribly grating on the soul to put so much time, love, consideration, complexity, cultural nuance and specificity into our stories only for them to be cruelly misinterpreted by internal bias, white supremacy, and puritanical moral ideals.

We must be more thoughtful to creators of color!

Just overwhelmed with the amount of wips I have and how many I have not finished and how disorganized they are and how much of my skills I want to work on

Reaching a point in my digital art journey that I think I have to return to a traditional medium again

OKAY BUT I DID FIND SOME TYPED OUT NOTES IN A DOC EVENTUALLY!!! I ALMOST CRIED OUT OF HAPPINESS!!

but actually it's cause I don't organize or back-up or take notes for my art is why I ended up here. And then I stared at my scribbles until I understood them and they decided to hurt me

I was staring at at least a year old of notes and sketch-doodles after searching + not finding them for a moment, worrying whether I didn't take any notes actually and imagined so hard that I thought I did

Notetaking, organizing, and backing up your files are forms of love to your future self ..maybe

I think there’s a pattern within the dynamics but I don’t stick around long enough to find out- I’m brave enough for the beginning of stories but not enough for middle and end- I’ll work on that
