My 77-year-old mother and my aunt participated in the Chilean march for International Women's Day. 600 women marched that day. I am very proud of my mom.

To me, this statement clearly demonstrates that they view people as tools. He doesn't compare AI to a tool, an inanimate object; he compares it to a human being, and hints that it is cheaper to replace than raise human beings.
